How does the LIKEaBIKE work?
When first trying to ride, kids play with their LIKEaBIKE as they would with a hobbyhorse. They become familiar with the saddle first carefully sitting on it. Soon they start to walk with it, then run. In no time the little rider becomes more confident, and by pushing off courageously with both legs, picks up speed. If the LIKEaBIKE starts to tip, kids instinctively regain their balance with their feet. Where do LIKEaBIKEs come from?
The LIKEaBIKE is quality engineered and crafted in Germany. This practical little toy was initially developed in 1997 by renowned product designer Rolf Mertens for his own children. The LIKEaBIKE is indeed unique. It is in a category of toy vehicles all by itself.

Can the seat be adjusted in height?
The seat pole can be adjusted in height in 5 increments from 13 to 17 inches. A seat pole extension for taller children is also available.

Does the LIKEaBIKE come with a warranty?
Yes, there is a two-year warranty on every LIKEaBIKE.

Is any assembly necessary?
Wooden LIKEaBIKE: The handlebar has to be mounted on the fork. Two screws and the appropriate allen key come with the shipment. Tires might need to be inflated, too. A pump can be delivered on request.
LIKEaBIKE Jumper: You have to assemble 4 pieces to the frame: the handlebar, the seat and the 2 tires. The handlebar has to be fastend with the handlebar clamp. The seat needs to be pushed and adjusted into the seat-tube (fastend with quick-release lever). Insert the wheels into the front and rear forks and tighten the wheel nuts securely. The Jumper comes with a soft elastomer, which smoothens the suspension for riders below 30 lbs. Kids above 30 lbs. shall ride the Jumper with the harder elastomer which is enclosed as well.
